Pene Cairns is a North Dorset based artist who has specialised in sculpture for the last decade, after a career in portraiture and oil painting. She studied Fine Art at the Ruskin School in Oxford and undertook further study at Central St. Martins and Chelsea School of Art in London.

Her lifelike forms of safari animals have delighted visitors to exhibitions around the UK, including a permanent installation at the Light Cinema in Stockport.

Recently, Pene Cairns’s work has been on display at Wylye Valley Art Trail, including several small bronze and bronze resin works and larger scale slate resin sculptures, which are available in limited editions.
